Precision Site Access & Turning Radiuses with Steering Axles

Hydraulic axle steering lets the trailer follow the tractor more closely through roundabouts, narrow site entrances, port terminals and yards, and it limits tyre scrub during slow turns. The operator steers the axles from the SteeraOS touch panel on the chassis or walks alongside with a wireless remote. Load capacity is 80 to 150 tonnes, depending on axle plan, permits and engineering review. Control system details: electrohydraulic controls.

Rapid Front-Loading via Detachable Hydraulic Goosenecks

Most configurations use a detachable, hydraulically operated gooseneck: the neck uncouples, the deck lowers and machines drive on from the front. A fixed gooseneck is available where loading from the rear is enough.

Fixed decks suit regular machinery transport; telescopic decks extend for long machines and project cargo. The operating system on the trailer that drives every STU hydraulic steering low loader. An industrial Siemens HMI on the chassis gives the operator live control of axle steering, suspension, alarms and diagnostics from a single ruggedised panel.

Manual Mode: direct axle control from the panel

Manual Mode is activated when the wireless remote is unavailable or when the operator wants direct touchscreen control. Axle direction (R/L), suspension level and platform position can be moved from the panel, with shortcuts activated with one touch for Zero Position, Ride Position and Straight Position to recover known geometry quickly.

SteeraOS pairs with a wireless remote for industrial use so the operator can walk alongside the trailer during tight manoeuvres, ramp loading or precise positioning under a load.
