The four-car transporter carries up to four vehicles on a more compact frame than the six-car model, which suits dealership transfers, regional distribution and routes with access restrictions. The chassis is S355J2+N steel, with Strenx 700E available to reduce tare weight, and it is 100% hot-dip galvanised. Steel options: chassis engineering. For a single car, the Mini 1-Car Carrier loads over a ramp of approximately 4°.
Each platform moves on its own multistage hydraulic cylinders, controlled by a PLC and a wireless remote. Dual protection valves stop a platform from descending if hydraulic pressure is lost, and Hansa-Flex fittings seal the circuit. A hydraulic winch rated at 4,500 kg with a 30-metre steel rope pulls non-running vehicles up the aluminium loading ramps. More on the system: electrohydraulic controls.
