UK & European Road Certification & Compliance Standards (CE, TÜV, COC)

STU trailers are type-approved under the European Whole Vehicle Type Approval system. A trailer built to an approved type comes with a Certificate of Conformity (COC), the document a registration authority uses to register it. The COCs below are published by trailer series and axle configuration. For registration in the UK, ask our team which documents apply to your trailer type. The load securing of the 6-Car Transporter has been tested by TÜV SÜD to VDI 2700, the German guideline for securing loads on road vehicles, and the certificate is supplied with the trailer. Load securing follows EN 12195. Welding procedures are qualified to EN ISO 15614, structural calculations are made to EN 1993 (Eurocode 3), and trailers carry the CE mark for the European market: our welding and steel standards.

STU Trailers operates to ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management) and SA8000 (social accountability). Production takes place in our 3,000 m² plant in Konya, Türkiye, with 30–35 employees. Ask us for copies of the certificates.
